Take a walk outdoors and admire nature, or walk around your house (or on a treadmill, if you have one). Walking is a great low-intensive way to stay active, especially with more people staying indoors.

Listen to your favorite music artists or find a calming music playlist on Youtube, Spotify, Pandora, or whatever music platform you enjoy using. Take a look for some inspiration here, here, and here.

Read a book

It's always a great time to pick up a new book, and there are thousands of great books out there, from sci-fi to fantasy to historical fiction to autobiography - the list goes on. Have a glance at our favorites!

Play a video game

There are video games catering to all kinds of people, whether you enjoy FPS games, RPGs, sandbox games, or something else! For bonus points, play with a few friends (or against them).

Talk with friends

Chat with your friends about school, your favorite interests, or help each other with homework! Some great messaging and voice platforms for long-distance conversations include Zoom, Discord, Google Meet, and more!

Eat your favorite food

Treat yourself. Even if you're on a diet or strict healthy eating program, it's okay to eat some comfort food once in a while. You can also reward yourself with your favorite food after finishing a project or test.

Meditate

Sit on the floor or the couch and close your eyes, focusing on your breathing and heartbeat. We even have a meditation tool to help you regulate your breathing, along with some nice music to set the mood.

Spend time with family

Now that we're spending more time at home than ever, make sure to set aside some quality family time to talk and relax. If you live alone, make sure to give them a call at least every week to catch up and chat.

Vent your feelings

Find someone - trusted friend, family member, teacher, counselor, you name it - and talk about your frustrations. Getting it all out will make you feel better. You can also use our venting tool and type your anger out.

Sing or dance

Fire up the music and sing or dance (or do both) to your favorite song, or just sing/dance without a backing track. If you play a musical instrument, you can even play the chords while singing.

Get 8+ hours of sleep

Pulled an all-nighter to finish your homework or study for a big exam? We've been there too. However, it's really important to get enough sleep so you feel energized the next day - but if you can't, there's always caffeine.

Go shopping

Social distancing is still important, so we recommend shopping online at Amazon or your favorite retailer. If you don't have money to burn, you could always try window shopping, which is still very therapeutic.

Draw or paint

Are you art-inclined? Do what you're passionate about and create a masterpiece - or, if you're not very artsy, now's a great time to learn the basics! You could even create digital art using Adobe Illustrator or other software.

Write a story

Write a fantasical fiction novel, a chilling horror story, or your own autobiography! Sit in front of your computer (or get a piece of paper) and create a whole world using only your imagination.

Make a to-do list

Keep all your tasks in order with a to-do list. You can buy a planner or notebook, or use our priority list tool to get all of your activities in one place, and check each one off when you've finished.
